12 Vintage Tupperware Pieces Worth Reselling

If you have vintage Tupperware pieces collecting dust in the back of your kitchen cupboards, you probably haven’t given them a second thought in years. But did you know that many Tupperware items are now considered collectible?

From measuring cups to serving bowls to children’s toys, buyers on eBay will pay more than you might expect for these plastic items from yesteryear (yes, even if you’ve lost the lid).

If you’re curious if you can earn extra cash from selling your old Tupperware, here are some of the items going for top dollar on eBay.

Current value: $15

Before the days of premade pie crusts, these mats helped you gauge how much to roll out the dough before transferring it to the pie tin. The classic 1965 red letter version has the recipe for baking powder biscuits and pie crust, as well as measurement equivalents and common substitutions.

Current value: $25-$149

These small bowls come with the iconic sunburst lids, designed to seal when you push the circle at the center. They were released in the 1970s, but a number of them are still floating around. They were originally sold in multi-colored nesting sets as well as a pastel yellow version. Even if you don’t have the full set, these could be worth selling.

You may not have realized that TupperWare sold toys, but you’ve probably seen several of them before. The TupperToys stencil set was once quite popular. It comes in a hard case with multiple stencils of animals, letters, basic shapes, flowers, and more.

This was one of Tupperware’s first products in the 1940s with the signature “burping” lid. Wonderlier bowls were often sold in sets. Colors range from frosted white to pastel to the earth tones of the 1970s. Sets sell for more, but even a single bowl with a lid will earn you $10 or more.

These were incredibly common across the country in the 1970s and 80s. If you still have a few lurking in your cupboard, they may be worth cashing in — especially if you happen to have an unchewed sippy cup lid or two to go with them.

There were several styles of these made, from the tall, thin version to the Millionaire Collection. Features that add value to these salt and pepper shakers are the flip-top lids, the caddy, and clearly visible S and P labels.

If you still have a full set of these spice containers lying around, you’ve got yourself a stellar find. The blue-lidded variety seems to be in the highest demand, but the caddy alone may earn you $14.

Your mom probably used these to keep your flour, sugar, and salt in. They feature the typical sunburst lids and come in a variety of colors: apple green, harvest orange, sage green, yellow, etc. Each canister is a different size for easy distinctions about its contents. These canisters are most valuable in tip-top condition in a complete set of four.

This toy has been around forever, gracing living rooms, church nurseries, and daycares the world over. Tupperware still sells it, but you can still get some value out of your vintage edition—even if you lost a few of the original ten shapes.

They don’t make these like they used to. This frost-coated measuring pitcher is a hot commodity right now, consistently fetching nearly $100 for one in good condition. Note that the slimmer, spouted design is in higher demand than the bowl styles.

Folks these days are increasingly nostalgic, which is probably why this Blockbuster-branded popcorn bowl is going for up to $56 on eBay. Even without the lid, this is a rare and valuable Tupperware find. If, by chance, the bowl comes with an old Blockbuster membership card, you could make even more.

When you declutter your kitchen, don’t toss out any vintage Tupperware that you’ve forgotten in the back of a cabinet or drawer; you could be sitting on a small goldmine if you take the time to sell items on eBay.
