Gorton's Golden Crispy Panko Fish Fillets

Price: $13.86

Back in my fast food days, I used to enjoy a delicious fish fillet from McDonald's. I often thought about recreating that at home, but I could never find the right fish fillet — until now. I discovered Gorton's frozen breaded fish at Sam's Club, which is available in a large bag for about $0.49 per fillet.

When you add buns, tartar sauce, and a slice of glorious golden cheese, you end up with a satisfying fish fillet dupe for under $3.

Jimmy Dean Croissant Sausage Cheese Breakfast Sandwiches

Price: $13.98

In the morning, I often neglect cooking breakfast, which leads me to grab calorie-dense snacks that leave me feeling unsatisfied. Jimmy Dean croissant sausage and cheese breakfast sandwiches offer a quick solution: just microwave one, wrap it in foil, and you're ready to go.

While Dunkin Donuts sells a pretty delicious sausage, egg, and cheese croissant for about $4.11, Sam's Club provides this Jimmy Dean dupe in a pack of 18, saving you $3.34 per sandwich.

Jimmy Dean Crispy Chicken Honey Biscuits

Price: $12.24

Speaking of breakfast, I think these Jimmy Dean chicken biscuit sandwiches are a great alternative to Wendy's honey biscuit sandwiches. They're light, crispy, and easy to pack in your lunch bag. Plus, they offer a whopping 13 grams of protein to start your day. Best of all, they're more affordable — at $1.53 compared to Wendy's $3.75, you're saving $2.22 per sandwich.

Shopping pro tip: This month's best deals

July is in full swing, bringing the height of summer. That also means peak season for hot deals and unbeatable savings. Now’s the time to save big on:

  • Grills, coolers, and outdoor living upgrades
  • Travel must-haves for road trips and beach days
  • Swimwear and summer fashion
  • For grocery savings, grab seasonal produce like watermelon, peaches, and tomatoes

While you're enjoying the sunshine, retailers are quietly making room for back-to-school inventory. That makes July a prime opportunity to scoop up summer favorites while the deals are still blazing.

Luigi's Squeeze Up Italian Ice Variety Pack

Price: $8.68

Luigi's Italian ice variety pack is a go-to treat in my house during the hot summer months. For me, no poolside day is complete without them.

Not only are they absolutely divine, but I find them easy to carry around, and they don't melt all over my hands and arms.

Just Bare Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Original Bites

Price: $14.98

Pick up a bag of lightly breaded chicken breast bites if you're craving the Chick-fil-A taste at home. These bites are reminiscent of popcorn chicken but are much lighter and less greasy. In fact, they're some of the cleanest chicken bites you'll find on the shelf.

When comparing volume and price, you'll get nearly three times the amount of chicken for just $3.99 more than what you'd pay for a Chick-fil-A 12-piece.

Kellogg's Eggo Waffles Homestyle Frozen Breakfast

Price: $9.44

Waffles were a staple in my household throughout my childhood. We enjoyed them for breakfast every Friday and could top them however we liked. My favorite combination was chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and nuts. I still treat myself to them occasionally, though now with healthier toppings.

After a bit of shopping around, I discovered that Sam's Club offers the best deal on them with a box of 60 for under $10. Now I "leggo my ego" at $0.15 per serving.

Quick tips: How to save on your grocery bill

Grocery shopping doesn't have to break the bank when you use the right strategies. Here are three quick tips for reducing food expenses:

  • Buy store brands instead of name brands whenever possible.
  • Always make sure to compare unit prices, not just sticker prices.
  • Join your store's loyalty program so you don’t miss out on member discounts.

Even though something like choosing coupons in your grocery store app can feel like an annoying task, the savings can really add up.

Member's Mark Angus Beef & Beef Patties

Price: $29.98

Member's Mark Angus beef patties are my absolute favorite shortcut for a last-minute grill and chill. This pack comes with 18 patties, priced at just under $2 each.

Although Sam's Club carries seasoned patties, I prefer these since I can add my own seasoning before grilling them.

Member's Mark Atlantic Salmon Fillet Portions

Price: $22.94

A few years ago, I joined the fish oil trend after reading about its numerous benefits for heart and brain health. Since then, I've aimed to have at least two servings weekly, with salmon being my absolute favorite. After shopping around, I've concluded that Sam's Club is the most cost-effective option for purchasing portioned filets.

For just under $23, you'll have enough salmon to enjoy two portions a week for a month.

Member's Mark Ready to Cook Chicken Wings

Price: $31.98

Member's Mark chicken wings are one of those items I don't leave Sam's Club without. They're individually glazed before being frozen, so they don't clump together and are much easier to thaw. Plus, $32 for a 10 lb. bag is a deal that's pretty hard to beat.

I pop mine in the refrigerator overnight before seasoning them and grilling them the following day.

Member's Mark Hand-Made Crab Cakes

Price: $16.98

Okay, I might be revealing one of my biggest secrets here, but here it goes. Whenever I'm invited to a function where I need to bring "my own" dish, I always bring crab cakes, and of course, everyone loves them. But little do they know, I didn't make them; I bought them from Sam's Club.

For this tasty deception, I choose Member's Mark hand-made crab cakes. They taste fresh and are perfectly seasoned.

Member's Mark Mesquite Grilled Chicken Fillets

Price: $15.98

I prefer to keep my fat low and protein high, so I tend to choose chicken breast meat over thighs. However, breast meat is like the Mercedes-Benz of chicken parts; it's very expensive. Luckily, I found these at Sam's Club last year and have been buying them ever since.

They're priced reasonably, preseasoned, and pre-grilled, making them the most convenient protein source for a quick lunch or dinner.

Member's Mark Steam In Bag Broccoli Normandy Blend

Price: $6.98

My trainer recommended this blend to me as an option for low-calorie vegetables that are high in fiber. Sometimes, I add grilled chicken to the mix; other times, I add a little alfredo sauce, salmon, and fettuccine noodles.

Honestly, the combination of meals you can make from this blend is endless.

Member's Mark Triple Berry Blend

Courtesy of Sam's Club a pack of triple berry blend

Price: $10.98

I am a bona fide smoothie addict. I have to have a smoothie every day, and three items that are a must-add are blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. I used to purchase them fresh, but they would spoil so quickly that I started looking for a frozen solution.

This triple-berry blend provides me with more than enough fruit, often lasting over three months.

Ore-Ida Crispy Crinkles French Fries

Price: $8.98

What's a top 15 list without french fries? And what better fry to make its way to my list than Ore-Ida Crispy Crinkles? These fries cook up perfectly every time. They're crisp, golden, perfectly salted, and soft on the inside.

As much as I'd like to keep it low-carb, this is undoubtedly my favorite cheat.

Red Baron Combo Pack Pepperoni and Four Cheese Deep Dish Singles

Price: $14.98

Movie night just isn't the same without popcorn, nachos, and pizza. I get my pizza from Sam's Club, specifically the Red Baron combo pack. This pack contains pepperoni and four-cheese deep-dish pies. What I like most about these pizzas is that they don't taste frozen.

They remind me of the deep-dish pizzas I used to get from the local pizzeria on Coney Island Avenue, and that says a lot coming from a New Yorker.

Bottom line

JHVEPhoto/Adobe Sam's Club Storefront

As you can see, Sam's Club has frozen treats for everyone, no matter your dietary needs or flavor preferences. From dairy-free delights to protein-packed options, there's something for every freezer and every taste bud.

With the money you save, you could easily grab a few extra items to stock up on or save more on everyday essentials like snacks, pantry staples, or household goods. The choices are endless.
