Smoothie shops and chains around the country are participating on Friday, June 21, offering everything from entirely free smoothies to $1 smoothies to free swag. For most, you need to be a member of their rewards program, so sign up before you head out.

Jamba Juice customers can score a 16-ounce smoothie for just $1 on Friday between 3 and 6 p.m. You can choose between two flavors — Mango-a-Go-Go and Strawberry Whirl — and online orders and drive-thru orders don't apply; you must go into a store.

While you're in, try their two newest flavors for summer, as well: Watermelon Lemonade and Watermelon Tajin, a zesty, vibrant smoothie that just screams summer. (While you have to act fast for the $1 smoothie, both of these flavors will be available through  September.)

Planet Smoothie, which has more than 150 locations around the country, is also getting in on the National Smoothie Day action by offering a free 20-ounce Lunar Lemonade smoothie to all in-store customers between 2 and 5 p.m. on Friday. This smoothie is a refreshing blend of lemon juice, strawberries, and bananas.

Every Friday is a good day at Smoothie King. Come in for the chain's regular Free Upsize Friday, which gives customers a free upgrade from a 20-ounce smoothie to a 32-ounce smoothie.

But there's more for National Smoothie Day: If you're a member of Smoothie King's Healthy Rewards loyalty program, you'll get triple points on any order and will also be entered to win a $5,000 sweepstakes celebrating the holiday. The offer is valid for in-store, online, and in-app orders. 

If you have a Tropical Smoothie Cafe near you, be sure to join their Tropic Rewards member program — you'll score a free 24-ounce smoothie when you buy a bowl or a food item. You can redeem this offer in-store or order ahead for pickup or delivery.
