In November 2023, the company announced it planned to increase its locations domestically and abroad to reach 55,000 locations around the world by 2030.
Starbucks has opened 9,000 locations in the past five years, with 7,000 of those locations outside the United States.
Wendy’s
You may have to do a double-take when you see a new Wendy’s pop up in your area because it may not look like the Wendy’s you’re used to.
The restaurant chain unveiled a new franchise design last year and expects to roll out more than 200 new locations with the fresh look in 2024.

The restaurant chain plans to expand its locations in these four states in 2024 with a total of 123 new spots for hungry customers.

That total number of new locations also includes 52 new spots in Florida.

Chipotle, known for fast dining options like burritos and tacos, continues to expand its reach across the U.S.
The company expects to open at least 255 new locations this year with the potential to reach 315 total new locations depending on approvals to get those spots open in 2024.
