Preorders for the new iPhone 15 (released on Friday) opened on September 15th.
The phone is already so popular that customers who already preordered in the US, China, and Japan aren’t likely to receive their new gadgets until November at the earliest.
While it’s next to impossible to find a truly cheap version of a brand-new iPhone, upgrading to the iPhone 15 with one of the following deals can help you keep more money in your wallet.

Is the iPhone 15 worth it?
So far, the iPhone 15 has earned almost uniformly glowing reviews, especially in terms of its super high-quality camera. Reviewers also praise the phone’s improved battery life.
Unlike the iPhone 14, the iPhone 15 charges with a more universal USB-C port instead of an obnoxiously Apple-specific lightning cable. The phone’s lightning-fast six-core graphics processing unit (GPU) should also create an unmatched immersive gaming experience.
On the other hand, if eliminating some money stress is your top priority, feel free to hold off on getting the iPhone 15 immediately. Keep in mind that a new iPhone release typically means prices for earlier models plummet.
iPhone 15 starting price
How much should you expect to pay for a brand-new iPhone 15 fresh out of the box? The answer depends on which version of the phone you prefer. Starting prices are as follows:
- iPhone 15: $799
- iPhone 15 Plus: $899
- iPhone 15 Pro: $999
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: $1,199
While the Pro and Pro Max models have more features and upgrades than the iPhone 14, all new iPhone 15 models come with a better camera, longer-lasting battery, and faster processors.
The Apple Store
Apple fans can preorder a new iPhone directly from Apple’s site at the prices we listed. While the site doesn’t offer direct discounts on new phones, it does provide financing options. For instance, a new iPhone 15 Pro starts at $999 upfront or $41.62 a month for 24 months.
Apple also issues trade-in credits for old phone models with discounts ranging from $40 to $650. You could also save more by signing up for a carrier deal through Apple.
For instance, trading in your old iPhone and switching to a Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T plan could score you a new iPhone 15 starting at $0 a month.
Resolve $10,000 or more of your debt
Credit card debt is suffocating. It constantly weighs on your mind and controls every choice you make. You can end up emotionally and even physically drained from it. And even though you make regular payments, it feels like you can never make any progress because of the interest.
National Debt Relief could help you resolve your credit card debt with an affordable plan that works for you. Just tell them your situation, then find out your debt relief options.1

Walmart
iPhone 15 shoppers used to finding budget-friendly deals at Walmart won’t be disappointed by the retailer’s iPhone deals.
Signing up for a carrier plan and trading in your old phone could save you up to $1,100 on your new phone. If you purchase a phone on an installment plan, your price also drops by $100.
Note that, like any retailer, Walmart prices the iPhone 15 higher than Apple itself. Make sure to consider the higher price while deciding if Walmart’s iPhones are the best deal for you.
Best Buy
Like Walmart and Apple, Best Buy offers carrier deals that can get you up to $1,000 a new iPhone 15.
Switching to Verizon or AT&T (or adding a new line to your current plan), trading in a qualifying older phone, and preordering a new iPhone 15 can earn you $250 to $1,000 in carrier bill credits.
Trending Stories
AT&T
Instead of going through a third party like Apple or Walmart, you can sign up with a new carrier directly to take advantage of trade-in credits.
With AT&T;, new and current customers can trade in older iPhone models and subscribe to an installment plan to get up to $1,000 off (for trade-ins valued at $230 and up).
Trade-ins valued at $130 to $229 can get you up to $830 off your iPhone 15 purchase, and trade-ins worth between $35 and $129 can score you up to $350 in bill credits.
Verizon
If you sign up for Verizon’s Unlimited Ultimate plan, Verizon will cover the cost of a new iPhone 15 (subject to a long list of terms and conditions, naturally).
The same applies if you’re a current customer adding a new line to your existing Unlimited Ultimate plan.
Trading in an old phone can earn you up to $1,000 off, and adding a new line to a different Unlimited plan can still get you up to $830 in bill credits.
T-Mobile
T-Mobile’s new Go5G and Go5G Next plans include unlimited 4G and 5G LTE data, streaming services, and built-in phone upgrades every one or two years.
New customers signing up for certain Go5G plans with T-Mobile can trade in an older iPhone for up to $1,000 off the cost of a new iPhone 15.
Xfinity Mobile
Xfinity customers can trade in their current iPhones to earn a discount of up to $830 on a new iPhone.
To lock in the discount, customers must choose a payment plan, trade in a qualifying iPhone, and sign up for a new family phone plan, among other conditions.
