Expect to pay about $10,332 to cover costs during that time, which is $1,001 higher than the cost for other minivans in the segment.

Chrysler Voyager

The Chrysler Voyager will cost you an average of $10,342 in maintenance and repair costs during the first 10 years. That is $1,011 more than for other popular minivan models.

Expect to pay $10,397 in maintenance and repairs over 10 years to keep your Wrangler running. That is $1,264 more than you would pay for other SUV models.

Jeep Grand Cherokee

Expect to pay $10,484 in maintenance and repair costs over 10 years if you pick up a Jeep Grand Cherokee. That tops other SUV models by $1,351.

Chrysler Pacifica

The Chrysler Pacifica is the most expensive minivan to repair and maintain, according to CarEdge.

Expect to pay around $10,620 in maintenance and repair costs over the first 10 years, which is $1,289 higher than what you would expect to pay for other minivans.

A Chevrolet Express van is likely to cost you extra cash for maintenance and repairs over the first 10 years of the vehicle’s life.

The Chevrolet Express costs about $11,370 to maintain during that time. Although it’s a lot of money, it’s actually $333 better than what you would pay for other full-size van models.

The Chevrolet Express Cargo version of the van will cost you $11,320 over 10 years for repairs. That is better than the segment average by $383.

Ford Transit

The Ford Transit will take a bite out of your wallet in terms of maintenance and repair costs.

The Ford Transit Wagon will set you back $11,632 over 10 years. On the bright side, that is $71 less than the average for full-size van models.

Meanwhile, the Ford Transit Cargo will cost around $11,701 during that time, $2 better than the segment average.

The GMC Sierra 3500HD will cost you around 13,095 for that same time period, which — while expensive — beats the segment average by $1,238.

Chevrolet Silverado

The Chevy Silverado might set you back in terms of maintenance and repair costs.

A Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD can cost you $14,644 in maintenance and repair costs over 10 years, which is $311 more than the average for heavy-duty models.

Meanwhile, a Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD can cost you $14,686 for that same time period, $353 more than the average.

Ford F-Series

Ford’s F-Series of trucks were the best-selling vehicles in the U.S. in 2022, according to Car and Driver. However, you might have to spend some money to maintain them.

The trucks in this series will cost a fair amount to main and repair over 10 years:

  • Ford F-250: $14,929 ($596 more than the segment average)
  • Ford F-350: $14,973 ($640)
  • Ford F-450: $15,479 ($1,146)
  • Ford F-550 Super Duty: $14,841 ($508)

The Ford F-150 comes in at a lower cost of $10,245 for 10 years of maintenance and repairs, which is actually $76 better than the average for popular pickup truck models.

The ProMaster City cargo van might cost you $19,870, a whopping $8,167 higher than the average for full-size van models. The ProMaster Cargo Van can run you $20,061. That is $8,358 more than the segment average.

Here is how much you can expect to pay:

  • Ram 4500: $25,134 ($10,801 higher than the segment average)
  • Ram 5500: $25,202 ($10,869)
  • Ram 2500: $25,464 ($11,131)
  • Ram 3500: $25,844 ($11,511)

With costs that high, you might have to find other places to save money on your vehicle, such as finding a way to save on car insurance.
