Why Cracker Barrel closed Maple Street Biscuit locations

Ohio

Powell: 9711 Sawmill Parkway, Ste. A

Ohio's lone closure happened in Powell, a fast-growing Columbus suburb. Despite heavy retail development in the area, this Maple Street shop didn't meet Cracker Barrel's financial benchmarks. Texas experienced the largest wave of closures, with seven stores shutting down across the Dallas–Fort Worth suburbs. These cafés were situated in some of the state's fastest-growing areas, but rising operating costs and stiff competition among brunch restaurants may have contributed to the decision.

Texas still has remaining Maple Street locations, but these closures mark a major pullback for the brand.
