In December 2024, The Container Store announced their intention to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The CEO stated, "The Container Store is not going anywhere, and our stores and website remain open for business." Currently the chain has 102 nationwide. The CEO also stated that the store's credit card and loyalty programs are not going anywhere.

While the CEO said that this bankruptcy filing shouldn't impact daily operations with employees or store locations, it does raise red flags about how long The Container Store will still be around.
