Texas Roadhouse Is Coming to 30 More Cities (And That’s Not Even the Exciting Part)

A Texas Roadhouse could be making its way to your road — the popular chain recently announced expansion plans, and they're expansive.

In February, the company said it plans to open new locations for Texas Roadhouse and its sister restaurants Bubba's 33 and Jaggers.

Texas Roadhouse announced that around 30 restaurant locations will be opening in 2024.

The company is also working with franchisees to open 14 additional locations in both domestic and international markets for its family of brands this year. The company said that four of those new franchise locations will be Jaggers restaurants.

The company has more than 650 locations throughout all 50 states. You probably won't be surprised to find out that Texas leads the pack with 76 Texas Roadhouses, while Florida comes in second with 43 locations.

The latest expansion news by Texas Roadhouse came in February during the company's annual earnings call.

During the call, brand leadership said 30 new Texas Roadhouse locations and its sister restaurant chains opened in 2023, along with an additional 15 additional franchise locations.

Texas Roadhouse usually has around 7,000 square feet of space to make sure it can handle a large number of customers. In fact, the company said it could accommodate about 300 guests on average per restaurant.

But the new locations may be getting more space, which could include more room for customers who would rather order dinner for pick-up instead of dining in the restaurant.

It may cost you more to go to dinner at one of the new Texas Roadhouse locations.

The company announced it would be raising prices by about 2% across the menu.
