The Hickory Creek shopping plaza in Denton will be home to a new Chick-fil-A for Texas residents, joining more than 140 existing Chick-fil-A locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Construction is expected to begin in May, with the restaurant slated to open in November 2024.

The new restaurant will include more than 5,000 square feet of space and cost $1.2 million to complete, according to a report by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Chick-fil-A will be testing out a new restaurant format with an elevated kitchen to care for four lanes of cars driving through.

The concept, which will be located in the Atlanta metro area, can help increase the number of cars that can quickly get food through the drive-thru lanes.

You'll be able to either place an order when you get there with a Chick-fil-A employee or online through the restaurant's mobile app and drive through to pick up your food.

Another quick and convenient option will open in New York City as a walk-up grab-and-go experience.

Customers can use Chick-fil-A's app to put in their order ahead of time and then swing by the store to pick it up.

The famed Route 66 will get a new Chick-fil-A as it winds through Flagstaff. The location is expected to open in early 2024, with an estimated 80 to 120 new jobs being added to the city when it opens.

Flagstaff has already had a Chick-fil-A for a decade, but customers are outgrowing the space, with traffic for the restaurant's drive-thru spilling out onto the local street.

The new location is hoped to alleviate some traffic issues and give customers another option to enjoy Chick-fil-A's popular food.

Chick-fil-A began construction late last year on the site of a new Chick-fil-A in Pennsylvania.

The new restaurant is expected to be almost 6,000 square feet with 70 seats inside, 55 parking spots outside, and three drive-thru lanes.

The restaurant is expected to create 80 to 120 jobs and will be located on a spot that used to house a Golden Corral, which was torn down to make room for the brand-new Chick-fil-A.

North of Houston in Cypress will be the home of a new Chick-fil-A.

The new restaurant is expected to open in January after breaking ground on the new space in September 2023.

However, residents have expressed concern about the new location due to traffic issues. It will be near a school, and parents are worried the additional traffic could be a problem.

Another new Chick-fil-A location opening in Arizona will bring tasty chicken sandwiches to Goodyear.

The new location on Estrella Parkway is expected to create 150 jobs for the local community.

Like other locations, Chick-fil-A will work with a local owner-operator who has owned other Chick-fil-A restaurants in the area for over 20 years.
