Drivers with a speeding ticket: 7.4%
Check out a Hyundai Santa Fe if you want a Hyundai but are worried about getting a ticket. Infinity says the Santa Fe is the "best-behaved" of the brand's models, with only 3.9% of drivers getting a ticket.
By contrast, 13.4% of Hyundai Genesis Coupe drivers were tagged for speeding.
9. BMW

Drivers with a speeding ticket: 7.4%
BMW might be ranked ninth overall, but it had the model with the highest percentage of tickets in Insurify's study: The study found that 17.6% of BMW i3 drivers reported getting a speeding ticket.
8. Honda

Drivers with a speeding ticket: 7.5%
The Honda CR-V made the top 10 list of the best-selling cars in 2023 and was also the best car to get if you want a Honda that will help you avoid a ticket. At 5%, the CR-V had the lowest percentage of drivers with a ticket among Honda owners.
On the other hand, 10.8% of Honda S2000 owners were flagged for speeding.

The Kia Stinger is the model to avoid if you fear a speeding ticket. It was the "worst offender" among all Kia models, with 13.4% of drivers getting a ticket, according to Insurify.

Drivers with a speeding ticket: 7.6%
Audi's S4 topped the list of ticketed drivers, with 14.6% of drivers getting a speeding ticket.
One issue might be the sporty sedan's power under the hood, which gets the car from zero to 60 mph in around 4.2 seconds, according to tests at Car and Driver.

The Mazda MX-5 Miata is a sporty car that offers plenty of zip. That may be one reason 9.2% of drivers get a speeding ticket, making the Miata the worst offender in Mazda's lineup.
4. Subaru

Drivers with a speeding ticket: 8%
Subaru is well-known for its off-road and rally-ready cars that participate in the Subaru Motorsports competition. The Mazda MX-5 Miata is the worst offender among the brand's vehicles, with 9.2% of drivers getting a speeding ticket.
3. Volkswagen

Drivers with a speeding ticket: 8.3%
Volkswagen's speedy Golf GTI is the brand's worst offender, with 11.1% of its drivers getting a ticket.
At the other extreme, only 4.8% of Volkswagen Touareg drivers get a ticket.

Drivers with a speeding ticket: 8.4%
Toyota announced it was discontinuing the Scion brand in 2016, but that hasn't slowed down the models still on the road. The worst offender is the Scion FR-S, with 13.7% of drivers racking up speeding tickets.
