Pileated Place - Alachua

Experience life on a farm in a trendy A-frame cabin for just $87 a night in Alachua. The cabin itself has two cots inside, with a hammock, fire pit, and campgrounds outside.

Guests are encouraged to tour the farm (for a fee) and take part in the farm life. There’s also a pond guests can relax by and four acres of surrounding pine forests for hiking.

In North Florida, just southeast of Gainesville, you’ll find the town of Hawthorne and a lakeside Airbnb for only $93 a night. 

The cottage rental includes one king-size bed, two sofa beds, and one bathroom. While the cottage itself is adorable, the real draw is the outside.

Another tiny and woodsy rental is in Milton, which is on the Panhandle and north of Pensacola Beach. The cozy cabin is available for $139 per night.

The interior is rustic and surprisingly spacious, with a queen-size bed, a bathroom, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. For nights in, there’s a TV and internet connection.

Outside, there are 20 acres of land to explore and a list of amenities including gazebos, fire pits, charcoal grills, and seating. 

It’s also just a short walk to Coldwater Creek for kayaking, canoeing, tubing, and viewing amazing wildlife.

Little Coop Farm Stay - Tallahassee

This farm-stay Airbnb in Tallahassee costs as little as $57 per night. The tiny rental is located on a nonprofit goat farm, but the owners also keep chickens, bees, pigs, and peacocks.
